Calma is a baby sleeping bag brand made from organic Pima cotton. They wanted a logo and branding that, while meant for babies, would appeal to mothers—the ones making the purchase. Also, the brand needed to be elegant and sophisticated, reflecting the high quality of the product.

For the logo, I chose a typeface that is both elegant and friendly, incorporating subtle playfulness to maintain a connection to the children’s market. The background resembles a cloud, symbolizing the softness of the product and the comfort of sleeping on a cloud. Additionally, the cloud shape is versatile—it also represents the sleeping bag when open, giving the design multiple layers of meaning.
